IDC Global Joins CME Group’s Co-Location Service Provider Partner Program as a Provider of Secure Cloud and Low Latency Connectivity Services

IDC Global, a subsidiary of GBS Enterprises, a leading provider of secure cloud computing and low latency network and Internet services, announced today that they will be taking space within the CME Co-Location Facility as a provider of cloud computing solutions and low latency network services.

IDC Global’s cloud automation platform, Group Live, will enable CME Group’s customers to have direct, secure, cross connect access to IDC Global’s private and public cloud computing solutions housed within the CME Co-Location Facility, local and off-site data back up, and worldwide network connectivity services.

CME Group launched Co-Location Services, comprised of hosting, connectivity and support services, on January 29, 2012, at its new state of the art data center in the western suburbs of Chicago. This new data center is home to CME Group’s matching engines for all products traded on the CME Globex® platform, and provides the lowest latency connection for its customers.

The GROUP Live cloud computing solutions are also offered in Chicago, IL., and Frankfurt, Germany, another critical trading hub of the European financial community. Jan Daiker, COO of IDC Global, explained, “With the expansion into the CME Co-Location Facility, IDC Global can now deliver financial firms with our award-winning private and public cloud services through GROUP Live, hosted at the core of the financial markets, securely, with the lowest latency connectivity available.”
