The Nasdaq Stock Market plans to distribute its data feeds via a low-latency wireless service, and to offer wireless-delivered data to trading firms located at its Carteret, NJ co-location facility. Those plans are outlined in a filing that the exchange is required to make with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) relating to establishing fees for the services it plans to introduce.

Thomson Reuters has expanded its next-generation consolidated feed, Elektron Real Time, to Frankfurt to provide regional market participants with full tick depth-of-market data from multiple venues around the world. The development is the next step in the Company’s plans to roll the new high-performance feed out globally, following deployment in London, New York, Chicago and Tokyo.

NYSE Euronext announced today that it has reached a settlement agreement with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) relating primarily to alleged violations by New York Stock Exchange of Rule 603(a) of Regulation NMS, a rule governing the timing of delivery of certain exchange market data. The SEC also alleged that NYSE failed to retain certain computer files in violation of SEC record-keeping requirements. NYSE Euronext entered into the settlement without admitting or denying the SEC’s allegations. In accordance with the settlement, NYSE Euronext has agreed to pay a $5 million fine, to retain an independent consultant to evaluate NYSE Euronext’s U.S. exchanges’ current Rule 603(a) compliance systems, and to implement the consultant’s recommended improvements.

Deutsche Börse today announced an exclusive agreement with Fitch Ratings to deliver low-latency credit rating announcements in machine-readable format via its algo news feed “AlphaFlash”. The AlphaFlash Fitch Ratings feed will initially provide sovereign debt rating announcements including changes in outlook. Other types of credit ratings will be added in the next months.
